Susan Boyer Bio:
Susan Boyer is the Executive Director of the Florida Benchmarking Consortium. She brings over 30 years of diverse experience in local municipal government in Florida. Ms. Boyer has served as City Manager of several Cities in Central Florida and has served other central Florida City’s and County’s in varying administrative capacities. As a former City Manager, she is familiar with the need to manage an effective and efficient workforce and the importance of identifying your stakeholders, their roles and responsibilities. She has a proven track record in organizational transformation, planning, customer excellence, financial management and consensus building. Her private sector work has included multi-million-dollar project management, and a variety of consulting work for local governments.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Certificate of Environmental Studies and a Master of Arts in Political Science/Public Administration from the University of Florida. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an ICMA Credentialed Manager.
