Sam Wagoner, Legislative Advocate, Florida League of Cities

Sam Wagoner Bio:

Sam Wagoner is a Legislative Advocate with the Florida League of Cities. Starting with the League in November of 2023, Sam was thrust directly into Legislative Conference and Session. With over a decade of experience in the political process in Tallahassee, Sam started his political career at 14 years old working on campaigns for local officials in Hernando County. Sam is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, earning degrees in Political Science and History, and a master’s degree in American Politics and Policy. Sam finished his professional education with a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. 

Sam’s professional experience includes stints as a Legislative Aide for Representative Payne, lobbying for both public and private clients at Sunrise Consulting Group, and working as an analyst on the House Redistricting Committee and State Affairs Committee. Sam and his wife Carly reside in Tallahassee and have one dog together, a toy poodle named Bonnie.
